When my wife was diagnosed with cancer, I sat across from my own fear not as a psychologist, but as a husband feeling what every man feels: the pull to numb, stay busy and pretend I was fine.

I wasn't. And neither are you.
THE PATTERN

Avoidance — fear's primary weapon.
We can solve problems all day and still go silent at the dinner table. Behind closed doors, a lot of men carry burdens they haven't named.

The 6 Patterns of Avoidance

➊  The Peacekeeper: Appeasing others over honest conversation, even when it costs you influence.
➋  The Escape Artist: Numbing pressure with screens, work, food, or substances instead of facing what's underneath.
➌  The Spectator: Quietly settling for a life that never demands the full weight of your gifting.
➍  The Stoic: Mistaking restraint for resilience so your team, spouse, or congregation never see the real you.
➎  The Superhero: Becoming everyone else's fixer so you don't have to reckon with your own needs.
➏  The Lone Ranger: Keeping people at arm’s length to avoid rejection and missing the support you actually need.

Six different masks. One shared cost: avoidance leaves a man present everywhere except in his own life.

"This is how we give away agency and allow avoidance to become the silent assassin of our heart."
And what avoidance ultimately kills...is agency.

THE SEMINAR

One day. One room. Where agency is rebuilt.
Picture
As a licensed psychologist, I'm sharing the same information and strategies I've spent the past 18 years developing and helping men apply in their business, marriage, and faith, so you don't have to stay stuck in these patterns of avoidance.
Make decisions from conviction instead of fear.
The Reckoning with Fear
Pinpoint the exact narratives and patterns that cause you to pull back and stall, then take them apart one by one.

Lead your family, team with greater presence.
The Un-Outsourced Life
Stop outsourcing your courage to circumstances, other people's opinions, or tomorrow.

Become difficult to rattle.
The Practice of Calm
You can't lead or help others until you can steady yourself first. Learn to govern your nervous system through breath and prayer.

Build relationships that sharpen you.
The TMS Brotherhood
Men who walk with you, not men who talk at you. A brotherhood figuring this out together, not a room of men pretending they already have.

THE QUESTIONS (FAQ)

What men ask before they register.

Is this therapy?
No. This is a one-day intensive, not a clinical treatment program. If you're in a season that requires ongoing clinical care, this seminar can be a strong complement to that not a replacement for it.

I don't know anyone else who's going. Will I feel out of place?
No. Every man who walks through the door is taking a risk. Some come alone. Others come with a trusted friend, colleague, or another man they respect. Both are welcome.

If there's someone who immediately comes to mind as you've been reading this page, consider inviting him. Courage has a way of multiplying when it's shared. We offer a discounted registration for two men because we believe these conversations were never meant to be carried alone.

Is this only for men with a strong faith background?
You don't need to have it all figured out spiritually to be here you need to be willing to look honestly at where fear might be holding you back.
